Business visa
Applicants for business visas are requested to provide the following in addition to the above-mentioned requirements:
- A letter of invitation from the Norwegian company
- A letter from the Lebanese company stating reasons for the visit and names of persons authorized for travel
- Evidence of business dealings with the host; for example correspondence, copies of previous business dealings or copies of contracts
Supporting documents must be translated into English. Invitations and guarantee forms should be sent from the host in Norway directly to the applicant and not to the embassy. It is in the applicants best interests to submit all required documents, since failure to do so might result in refusal of the application. However, submission of all required documents does not guarantee the issue of a visa.
The visa processing procedures may sometimes be long. For this reason, the Embassy urges applicants to apply well in advance of planned travel dates.
